Episode 2
Episode 2
First impressions were a disaster—an actual, painful disaster. Sigh.🥺
By the time we parted ways, my head felt heavier than my overnight bag. He didn’t exactly resemble the man I had imagined in my daydreams… not even close. But somehow, despite the mismatch between fantasy and reality, we were already emotionally knee-deep in something. Something warm. Something confusing. Something that made me say, “Let me give this man another chance.”
So when he invited me over to spend the weekend, I said yes.
The moment he smiled at me, something flipped inside my chest. A strange, shimmering jolt of joy. Suddenly, the butterflies I thought were dead did a full resurrection and started a parade in my stomach. That single moment… it changed everything.
Could this be my own modern-day Beauty and the Beast situation? 🤔
I didn’t care. I followed him home anyway.
The weekend felt like a secret fairytale.
I was on my period and so uncomfortable, yet when he looked at me, his face softened—sweet, gentle, concerned. Then he offered to massage my feet, and honestly, I wasn’t about to decline a blessing. By the time his hands worked their magic, my heart had made a quiet, irreversible decision.
I was in love. Helplessly in love.
My lips would curl into a smile just thinking of him. And this time, with a clean shave, he actually looked… fine. Like very fine. A gentleman from head to toe.
We talked about everything—things that mattered and things that didn’t. We laughed at each other and with each other. We traded secrets over coffee, whispered confessions, and kissed under a shy moon that watched us like it was taking notes.
But as all good weekends do, this one ended too quickly. Reality came knocking, so I dragged myself back to my regular life, already missing the world we had built in just two days. And that was the beginning—the sweet, dangerous beginning—of our story.
As weeks passed, our friendship grew roots. We became each other’s safe place. But where there is sweetness, there is always a shadow.
Rumors began to float…..
