 The other end of the line. Episode 1

“Oh ok so how are you?”

Came the voice at the other end of the line. 

“Lol I’m fine”, I said. Wondering if we had met🙄.  “I am Kay” he replied. “Ama” I simply announced. We kept checking up on each other everyday until my favorite part of the day became the voice on the other end of the line. From the very first moment, it felt as if we had known each other forever. Three months down the line, I was head over heels and anxiously waited for the unknown figure at the other end of the line. 

Soon, we were sharing secrets with each other and talking about our lives like we are the only people in the world. His voice was so soothing and comforting…..

One sunny Tuesday while I was on the field working, he called and invited me over🥰. I was going to see my crush and my heart pounded with excitement. I anxiously awaited the day when I was finally going to see him. 24hrs seemed like years. The days slowly went by and at last, the much awaited day was here!! 

I pictured a tall, handsome man with cute dimple from his online profile but the person I met was nothing like my dream man💔. I was disappointed and all my excitement disappeared from my face. He had shorts and slippers on, his hair and beard were unkept and he looked fat😭. I had been catfished😂, I sighed dejectedly and faked a smile 😊
