I found a woman

Stronger than anyone I know

Kindness is her middle name

Selflessness is her hallmark 

More generous than Warren Buffett

She sacrifices herself like Jesus Christ

Just to make her progeny happy 

Mama

She sometimes talks too much

We sometimes argue just like friends

But even in anger, her love is still

Endless and supersedes all other

Her words are meant to build not to tear

She is the pillar that holds her household

Mama

Her gaze is like sunshine which

Pierces so deep into the heart

Her eyes always sparkle with love

Her love is both her strength and weakness

Her offspring, her pride and joy

The most neutral and intimate friend

Mama

You are my safe haven

I run to your arms and I feel safe

Our protector, provider, professor

When I’m outta control, you hold me down

And never let go

If I ever need saving in my restlessness

I know I will always find rest in your bosom

Because there’s no other love like a mother’s love
